Any idea when (if) this will be available? We'll be viewing both movies in our small group and would like the study guide for AG1 if possible.

We don’t really know, sorry. The brother who did the AG2 guide has made some progress on it, but can only work on it when not busy with seminary, life, etc.

On a completely different note, our church recently baptized and welcomed as new members a young couple who had visited our church 2 years ago when we played American Gospel. Initially being offended by the movie, they argued and questioned our pastor for the last 2 years but the Lord slowly opened their eyes and they came around to the truth. Amen!
