What is worldliness and how should Christians think about it? How is the Church to be separate from the world and yet reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Unfortunately, the popular trend in much of American Christianity is for churches to use worldly gimmicks to gather crowds. The Gospel is often obscured and redefined in order to please people who love the world. Phil Johnson expounds God’s call to Christians to “love not the world” and to protect the purity of the Church and our preaching of the Gospel.
