John Mark Comer claims that "you become what you contemplate." Bob DeWaay shows that believing deception does not make it reality. He also addresses verses that are often misused by people who seek to reinforce the Eastern idea that reality is a state of mind. Deception makes us think things are true when they are not. We need to have our minds renewed and be sanctified through God's Word to think in reality rather than deception.
