As God calls his people out of Egypt and redeemed them, he brings them to the foot of a mountain to teach them the holiness required in order to ascend the Mountain of God and fellowship with him in the beauty of righteousness and holiness. The Exodus and Sinai prepare the way for the work of the ultimate mediator Jesus Christ who redeemed us and brings us to God.
