You may have heard it said that the Gospel is the story of Jesus dying on the cross and rising from the dead. That is definitely the central piece of the story, but unless we see how this fits into the larger grand story that encompasses the entire Bible, we will not truly understand the cross and the resurrection of Jesus as the Good News story that changes everything.
