As the Bible moves forward in Genesis chapter 4 onward, we see the brokenness, sin, hopelessness, and need of mankind; but we also see woven into history and into the Old Testament Scriptures – both pictures and prophecies of God’s answer found in the promised offspring – a Messiah – a Deliverer – who we know to be Jesus.
