Foundational to the Reformation was the belief that God’s Word is sufficient to teach us what we are to believe and how we are to live. Before the Reformation, the Roman Catholic Church had successfully kept the Bible out of the hands of common people. The Reformers fought to give the Bible to the masses. Pastor Don Green begins his series on the Five Solas of the Protestant Reformation with a Biblical survey of the Doctrine of Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone), explaining its meaning and continued importance.
