Does it matter to God how we worship Him, or does He not care as long as our worship is sincere? In this much needed sermon, Voddie Baucham defines and explains the Regulative Principle of Worship. Most churches today operate on the Normative Principle, worshipping God however their feelings dictate as long as there’s not an explicit Biblical command against it. Under the Regulative Principle, churches order their worship according to what is clearly prescribed by the Lord in His Word. This principle leads us to always ask, “If this worship practice isn’t prescribed for the Church in Scripture, then why are we doing it?”
