This new series will be a theological review of John Mark Comer's book Practicing the Way. Comer claims that we can be an apprentice of Jesus and that there is "...no problem that apprenticeship to Jesus cannot solve." We show that the apprenticeship model fails because Jesus is unique. We also discuss the influence of Dallas Willard and spiritual formation.
This is a critique of "Practicing the Way" by John Mark Comer, WaterBrook, 2024.
