Every cancer patient thinks about the future. They ask questions like:
- When will my treatment be over?
- Will the drugs work?
- Is my doctor really the best?
- How much of a future will I actually have?
- Will my quality of life decrease?
- Will the doctor have to change my regimen?
- Will there be long-term side effects from the chemotherapy?
Every one of these is appropriate and normal. The hard part is to keep thinking about the long term. You will not have cancer forever. In the long term, do not forgot two important events. The first event is the return of the Lord Jesus, and the second event is the glorification of your body.
