The Enneagram is not a valid psychological tool, but instead is a New Age indoctrination tool which was derived from occult practices. Doreen discusses psychiatrist Claudio Naranjo: Grandfather of Psychedelic Therapy and why his public admission that he received the nine Ennea-types through automatic writing, is one of the many reasons why the Enneagram is an unredeemable pagan practice. You will hear a portion of Naranjo’s writings about the demonic nature of automatic writing. These are compared to Biblical commands that we are to having nothing to do with the occult, and that we are not to cause a brother to stumble. Doreen was formerly a best-selling new age author, and she describes how she used automatic writing to author heretical and blasphemous books before she was saved. Doreen combines her background of studying and administering personality tests as a former psychotherapist (B.A., M.A. Counseling Psychology from Chapman University), her knowledge as a former new age insider, and her theological seminary training to contend that Christians should have nothing to do with the Enneagram.
