It is now even promoted and marketed as a “Christian” and “Gospel-Centered” tool by Enneagram evangelists. But what is the “gospel” offered by the Enneagram system? What is man’s problem according to Enneagram theology? And what is the Enneagram’s proposed solution to man’s problem? If this system is advertised as “Christian,” then a biblical critique of the Enneagram’s doctrines of God, man, sin, and salvation is warranted. Dr. Cherry serves as Adjunct Professor of Biblical Counseling at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in addition to his role as Director of Finances and Donor Relations for the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). He holds degrees from North Carolina State University (BSME), Babson College (MBA), and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MA Missiology; Ph.D. Biblical Counseling).
