In 1996, C. Peter Wagner launched the New Apostolic Reformation, a movement designed to reform the church based on embracing the authority of latter-day apostles and prophets. Bob DeWaay will show that the grandiose claims of the latter day apostles are patently unbiblical and that this movement is not new but has roots in Roman Catholic thinking, the teaching of a 17th-century mystic, and the 20th-century Latter Rain movement.
