In this prologue to Colossians, Paul emphasizes prayer and the gospel. The gospel is the gospel of grace as well as of truth, of peace, of Christ and other such phrases. Paul expresses his thankfulness for the Lord's flock. Paul also mentions faith, hope and love. This sermon focuses on the gospel. We also discuss the need to be devoted to prayer.
