According to the warfare worldview, believers must gain secret knowledge and do battle with the spirit world to have victory over the powers of darkness in this life. One must learn the right affirmations and renunciations, cast out demons, break curses and many other things in order to have peace in this life. This false worldview leads Christians back to paganism.
When we are born again we are delivered from the domain of darkness and transferred to the kingdom of Christ (Col 1:13,14) and we can draw near to the throne of grace (Heb 4:16) in our time of need. We must reject the warfare worldview and stand firm in the gospel.
