Leg lengthening is a common "healing miracle" observed in charismatic circles, particularly among individuals like Todd White and those affiliated with Bethel Church and the New Apostolic Reformation. Notably, C. Peter Wagner claimed to have received the gift of healing after reportedly healing at least 50 people of short legs and back pain at a John Wimber conference in 1984.
