Justification by Faith Alone – Steven Lawson – Galatians
Reformation 500 - G3 Conference (2017) • 50m
Before his conversion, Martin Luther hated the concept of the “righteousness of God”. He wrestled for years to understand how wicked sinners are made acceptable to a Holy God. Dr. Lawson tells the beautiful story of God’s grace in bringing Luther to a right understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God opened the eyes of this devout Augustinian monk to see that salvation rests not on our works but on the finished work of Christ, and this salvation is received as a free gift through faith alone.
