Eastern Orthodoxy: Through the Lens of Scripture - Samuel Farag
Rejection of Sola Scriptura - E.7 - Eastern Orthodoxy - Samuel Farag
25m
The Eastern Orthodox Church is wholly against the biblical doctrine of Sola Scriptura, or Scripture Alone. This is a major flaw in their theological makeup, as Sola Scriptura states that the Bible, which is the Word of God, is the ultimate, final, and sufficient authority for Christian faith and practice, rather than tradition or other sources. Without this essential doctrine, one is at risk of adopting any number of unbiblical beliefs, just as the Eastern Orthodox Church has done.
