Reels seems to bombard us and to pull us into the vortex of doomscrolling on our phones. In the mix of those reels, we can come across snippets of teachings and doctrines that are aberrant and confusing. Some people may even say some things that sound good, but do they agree with Scripture? Additionally, there are leaders who do not take kindly to being questioned, calling those who question their long-form content and their reels "YouTube theologians", which is meant to be derogatory and to insinuate that opposition is unfounded and lacking Biblical intelligence.
However, we are all theologians. The question is, are we good, not so good, or bad theologians? Join me as we consider some reels, testing what is said and taught against Scripture.
