AGTV exists to guard and proclaim the biblical gospel of Christ crucified, and to provide Christians and their local churches with resources to refute the errors of the "American Gospel."
The two documentaries put out, "Babies are murdered here," and "Babies are still murdered here," I think would be great additions to this website. Just a thought.
Yes! I just started a thread and these were the first two I recommended!!! BASMH even got kicked off Amazon Prime for proclaiming truth. Which means everyone should see it! If you like these films keep your eye out for two upcoming films: Abolitionist, the movie (should be releasing in late summer this year), and A Storm Comes Rolling Down the Plain which I believe is set to come out in 2021 but not sure what the actual release date is.
Please forgive me, but I need to ask a Question,
what is this obsession with American Christians and abortion?
I am perplexed by this, and here is my reason, ten's of millions of children live below the poverty line in America, and yet the bible speaks about the helping the poor more than abortion, the Bible speaks more about the love of money than abortion.
Its no secret to anyone in the World, that Money is the God of America...
why are you so pre occupied by already dead babies, yet are not bothered by the living ones living on the bread line?
I am against abortion, but those who do it will answer to God, not Humans, as for the lives terminated, they are in Gods hands.
its seem's that its so much easier to shout and demonstate about lives already lost, than it is to care for those still living, and so much less expensive no?
the Bible says
'the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil'
'Go sell all that you have, and give to the poor'
'To whom much is given, much will be required'
Yeah honest question. Well if you interested in understand why we hold it to such a high priority to end abortion in the US i would suggest watching the documentary:
it's not too long and its free.. but to give a short response: We aren't shouting at lives that are lost. We are pleading with mothers to not kill their children, and with legislators in this country to end this unspeakable evil that we brought upon ourselves. Throughout the whole bible one thing is clear about a nation that is under God's judgment, almost every time; Sexual immorality and child sacrifice. Israel fell off the edge when they began to sacrifice their children to baal. Now we just do it out of the name of convenience.
There are obviously many other sufferings and evil in this world that need to be dealt with, but we cannot refuse act upon this.
"why are you so pre occupied by already dead babies, yet are not bothered by the living ones living on the bread line?"
How do you know what Christians in America are bothered by and not bothered by? Are you assuming that we do not care for poor and needy people in our country? A passion for one subject does not equate to callous disregard for another subject. The Great Commission in Matthew 28 compels us to make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey all that Christ has commanded. Part of spreading the Gospel is proclaiming the whole counsel of God, and you shall not murder is a prominent command.
It's a very common and inaccurate perception that Christians don't care about people after birth. Christians are the largest group by far that adopts unwanted children, as well as feeds the poor.
Christians absolutely are caring about people after they’re born. That is a complete misconception and a lie perpetrated by people who hate God. But as far as obsessing over abortion... can someone really overreact to the systematic brutal murder of tens of millions of children made in the image of God? Can we really say too much about standing in the gap to save the lives of little ones who are being ripped apart limb from limb? Little children who are being murdered and sacrificed unto false gods? Your line of questioning would be like asking the abolitionists during slavery “why are they so obsessed with freeing to slaves?”
Abortion isn’t new, people have done human sacrifices for thousands of years. It is a wickedness that we absolutely must stand against if we believe the Bible to be true. Yes there are other things that we should also be doing like feeding the poor and taking care of widows. But do you know of anybody going around and brutally murdering widows or poor people? If your neighbors child fell into their swimming pool and was drowning and you were sitting on your back porch watching the whole thing happen, would it be an “obsession” for you to go save the child or would it be your Christian duty?
Jeremiah 22:3 says “do justice and righteousness, and deliver the one who has been robbed from the power of his oppressor. Also, do not mistreat or do violence to the stranger, the orphan, or the widow; and do not shed innocent blood in this place.”
Proverbs 31:8 says “ Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all the unfortunate.“
You cannot overreact to the slaughter of the innocents. You call it an obsession, I call it living out biblical Christianity.
Well..
I know a little about your country, because I lived there, Married an American, traveled accross your country more than once, from Alaska to Florida via most of the states in between.
And have many American friends who still live in America..
And I have read a few books on American History.
And last but not least, due to your 24hr news coverage of your country, its no secret to anyone as to the views and practices of both your government and private instatutions ie health care, insurence, and socialist paranoia.. etc.
As i said before, I do not think abortion is right.
My point is, Who are we to judge? Stop taking it out of Gods hands, He's the judge, He is GOD.
And if it really mattered to those who shout the most about it, why aren't they standing outside abortion clinics offering to adopt the child in the pregnant mother's wombs.
I'm sorry if my tone seems aggressive, its just that I know I'm taling to a brick wall when I try to engage this subject with Americans, and that is very frustrating.
So I will engage no more.
the ten commandments are Gods second set of Rules for Living, the first was forbidding to eat of thatParticular tree in theGarden. Thou shalt not kill is one reason we feel so strongly. Basic rules 101. we are FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE IN His image, before the foundation of the world He knew us.
Another thing is in this day and age, there are an incredible number of socia---local, state, and federal--- programs to help families in need. We do not know the Holy Plan the Lord has for individuals. in or out of the womb.
Yes, feed the hungry, house the homeless, care for widows, but we wshould not ; neglect saving lives. it s not our Job to determine whether a life is worthy. Look at the Good Samaritan. who passed him by? he was kept alive and cared for by a JEW, who had compassion.
This church(Apologia Church) who created the "Babies are Murdered Here" documentary, have adopted handfuls of babies which are now a part families which are a part of their congregation. They've saved thousands of babies by simply preaching the Gospel outside of those abortion clinics because those mothers and fathers changed their minds when someone stood up and said "God says, "You shall not murder! And spoke hope saying "We will pay for your medical bills and even adopt your baby if necessary." (look up "Apologia Studios Abortion" on Youtube)
Imagine if they had the mindset, "well who are we to judge, it's up to God..." Those babies wouldn't be alive. They do this because they stood the risk of getting mocked and shamed for lives of others.
They also have a ministry called End Abortion Now, which equips hundreds of churches around the world to go and preach the Gospel and offer help and adoption to those mothers in need. Check out the movie for free on Youtube. "Babies are Murdered here." I hope you see the urgent need for human beings to be rescued out of murderers hands and the mandate of the Church to rescue those being lead to the slaughter. God Bless.
Proverbs 24:11 "Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter."
yes, i would agree. Standing outside of the abortion mill and pleading with women, offering to take their child, and preaching the gospel is exactly what I am advocating for (As well as the churches involved in the documentary).
Andrew, think on this..Say .I support the Diabetes Association and am an advocateof finding a cure for juvenile Diabetes. Would this imply that I dont care about cancer? Or am refusing to support Alzheimer's, St. jUDES, Israel, MAKE A WISH, OR any of a number of profit. non profit, or Christian organizations? Of course not.
