I do think the Bible Project does excellent visual work, and in general does great in explaining how all of scripture points to Jesus. However, when it comes to specifics, Tim Mackie is more progressive in his theology than I am comfortable with; I believe he has some unbiblical view of hell, and the atonement that would put him more in line with the progressives we critique in AG2: Christ Crucified. In fact, the first red flag I saw was that the DeConstructionists Podcast (from AG2) are big fans of Mackie and interviewed him twice on their podcast. He also promotes the Enneagram, which we critique here as a New Age tool (comes from automatic writing).
I do agree that having a team of animators of their skill level would be incredible for a film, but animation like that is incredibly expensive ($1,000-$1,500 per second) and we are unable to afford that at this time.
