I'm sorry for the confusion Cory. Much of your question is explained/answered here: https://www.americangospelfilm.com/spirit--fire-ag3.html
As you may know, we are not a non-profit organization with a group of donors supporting our work, giving us the ability to make things free. (But even Christian nonprofit ministries typically charge for films or series at first, before making them freely available- if they do at all).
We invest money into the documentaries we produce (which cost between $150k-$300k to produce a single film; and this is a docuseries, which is bigger than that), and need to a chance to at least make that money back, or we cannot continue working to produce more content.
The first season of AG3 (13 episodes) isn't finished yet, and we need the support to be able to pay people to finish working on it. So during this pre-release of AG3 (4 episodes), for the price of a lunch ($15.96) you can own 4 episodes, or 4 hours and 42 mins. of content (most people we've talked have said that they think that is extremely cheap) and help us recoup our costs and pay people who are working to edit, compose music, etc. If we were to make all of these freely available on AGTV right at the release, anyone could watch them with a free trial, and that would undercut our ability to recoup our costs and survive as a company. Typically when new films are released, they are not put on a streaming service for that very reason.
Our mistake, which likely has lead to this confusion is that we use AGTV to update our supporters on the progress of AG3, which gave the impression that it would be available here right away. The full series will eventually be available here, but not initially. I'm sorry that you subscribed thinking that you'd be able to see the content. We'd be happy to send you a way to have the series for free on Vimeo On Demand if you can't afford it (email [email protected]).
