My wife and I are begining a small group study in our home this week. I reached out to AG via FB a few months back to confirm permissions were appropriate and I just wanted to thank you for this project and what it has done for my own spiritual walk. Each time I go through the film and the study guide, just as the Lord provided for David in Psalm 50, there is such a wonderful refreshing of joy in salvation for me.
We have 13 confirmed to attend on our first night. We have devoted so much time in prayer over this opportunity the Lord has allowed, and I would ask for all who read this, would you also pray with us over those the Lord brings into our home this coming week and the next years, should He allow, that they may meet Christ through our door?
Has anyone else attempted or led a home group using this film and study guide before? Would you have any advice for us starting out? Would you have any memorable experiences you would like to share?
My wife and I are extremely nervous and just as excited at the same time. We are looking forward to meeting and getting to know new people in our home and growing in the Lord with them. Our first night is only two days away as I type.
